The text input field at the top of the
"Edit bill of materials..." form is used to filter the rows in the table. It uses free text entry to show only rows that correspond with the text entered into the box.

Filtering by text in any column
You can type any text into the text box, and it will only show rows that contain that text in one or more visible cells in the table.
Filtering by text in a specific column
By default, Bommer will show rows that contain the entered text in any of the available cells, but Bommer also lets you specify a column in which to search for the text. To do this, addin:Column Name
(where "Column Name" is the name of the column you want to look in) to the filter dialog. For example, let's say we wanted to search for "004", like above, but only wanted to look in the Description column. Our filter text would be:
004 in:Description
and the results would look like this:

show rows that Once you have completed your edits, press OK to save your changes, or Cancel to discard your changes.
