This one goes to 11.
Take control of your BOM data like never before! This release introduces powerful new importing capabilities that let you update your BOM in bulk from spreadsheets, plus significant performance improvements for collaborative editing workflows. Whether you're managing complex assemblies or working with team members in Fusion Team, these updates will help you work faster and more efficiently. Happy Bomming!
NEW:
- Import BOM values from spreadsheet exports! Make bulk edits in Excel or pull in data from other members of your team, then import that data into Bommer for Fusion with confirmation of changes and visual highlighting. This also introduces a new undo/redo mode so you can effortlessly review your bulk changes!
- Initial support for Fusion Collaborative Editing and Hub version 2.0 with dramatically faster read and write performance when working with new style Fusion hubs.
CHANGED:
- Single edit undo/redo in the new Edit bill of materials screen is now more intuitive. Similarly to Google Sheets or Excel, when you undo Bommer will change your view to where the edit took place, and when you redo Bommer will stay on that sheet so you can see the change.
- The Help button on the Edit bill of materials screen is moved to the toolbar for easier access, with helpful links in import confirmation dialogs.
- The Settings command now disables the OK button while properties are loading.
- Settings backups are now automatically created in a
settings_backupfolder whenever you make changes.
FIXED:
- Fixed an issue where properties with default formulas couldn't be edited in the new Bill of Materials table.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when pressing OK in the Settings command before properties finished loading.
- Fixed a synchronization issue that could prevent settings change if an error occurred during load.
- Fixed an issue where the expanded row state Bill of Materials table was lost when the screen was closed and reopened.
