1.11.26151.0043 — Drawing improvements & top-level ancestor properties
We're excited to announce the Fusion Spring 2026 Feature Release! This update brings new drawing-scoped properties and better unit formatting for richer BOM tables on your drawings, new properties for describing assembly ownership for a part in your design, faster updates in the new BOM table, and a wave of stability fixes for users on the latest Fusion 360.
NEW:
- Fractional formatting in drawing tables — You can now have BOM table values render as fractional inches in your drawings without changing Fusion's global unit and value display preferences. Useful when your shop floor needs fractions but the rest of your workflow stays in decimals.
- Top-Level Ancestor properties — New property that reports the top-level part or assembly name, part number, or row number that each line item belongs to, making it easier to group, label, or filter BOM rows by their top-level container, or import the BOM into a PLM or ERP.
- Four additional drawing-scoped text properties — Four new free-text properties you can add to each drawing table (e.g. job notes, revision tags, customer info) or reference from drawing annotations.
CHANGED:
- Faster cell edits in the new BOM table — Cell edits on are significantly quicker, especially on systems with large numbers of properties or formulas. Formula evaluation overall has been sped up substantially, as well.
FIXED:
- Pushing edits on the latest Fusion 360 — Resolved an error that prevented pushing some edits after updating to Fusion 2606.1.22 or later.
- Part numbers missing from Bommer Part Info — Fixed an issue when running Bommer with recently migrated Fusion hubs.
- Crashes in the Drawing environment — Added safeguards against several crash conditions reported when working in Bommer drawing tables.
- Text parameters in formulas — Text user parameters can now be referenced in Bommer formulas without spurious unit-application errors. Previously the only workaround was to use numeric parameters with conditional logic.
- Bommer tables on older drawings failing to load — Bommer table configurations written by Bommer builds released before May 31, 2025 now load cleanly, instead of triggering a "something went wrong" popup.
- Balloon attachment on curved geometry — Balloons can now be attached to arcs and other curved edges, not just straight lines.
- Crash when document references are unavailable — Fixed a crash that could occur after data file operations when document references were unexpectedly missing.
- Background network reset errors on Windows — Hardened Bommer's internal file server against client-side connection aborts, reducing background error noise on Windows hosts.
