1.11.26305.0356 — Summer 2026 Bug Fix Follow-up
This release overhauls the way we load data from Fusion’s Hub 2.0 APIs. Bommer now loads your part data faster and more reliably and keeps you informed while it works. Bommer also makes it easy to opt out of loading Hub-managed properties and cleans up other interactions with Fusion’s data.
- More reliable loading — Bommer’s integration with the new Hub 2.0 APIs has been completely rewritten to load data faster and handle errors and missing data better.
- Better signage and user feedback — While part data are still loading, the new Edit Bill of Materials command now shows a banner and a spinning refresh icon, then updates on its own once ready. Other commands, such as Edit Part Info and the legacy Edit Bill of Materials command, show a cancelable progress bar while data are loading.
- Easy to disable if you don’t need it — the built-in Part Number and Description properties are now configured so that if they aren’t in your BOM, we do not load them from the Hub 2.0 APIs. This lets you replace them with custom properties if you do not need to utilize these properties’ collaborative editing features.
- Cleaner reloads in the drawing table editor — Reloading the drawing table editor now clears leftover selections and in-progress state, while the automatic refresh that happens when data finishes loading keeps your current table setup and selection.
And we are not done yet. We are still working to improve performance and stability in any place in Bommer that uses these APIs. In the meantime, if you have any feedback or an issue to report, please email us at support@bommer.io.
Other Fixes
- Mass correctly uses custom unit settings — Mass properties now display in the correct unit when your design uses a custom active unit (for example, inches with pound-mass).
- Canceled table edits no longer reappear — When you edit a drawing table and click Cancel, those changes are now fully gone. Previously, canceling edits and then creating a new table would restore your row edits into the earlier table.
- Undoing and redoing drawing table edits no longer crashes the drawing — Repeatedly undoing and redoing after adding rows to a drawing table no longer causes the undo buttons to flicker or the drawing to crash.
- Drawing table editor no longer drops rapidly made edits — Selecting several rows in quick succession in the drawing table editor now adds all of them to the drawing. Previously, edits made while Bommer was still processing an earlier one could be dropped, especially on large assemblies.
