Bommer for Fusion 360 will read and utilize the Units and Mass Units that you define in the Fusion 360 drawing Document Settings. These units will be used in your drawing table to ensure your mass properties and dimension properties are consistent with the rest of your drawings.
What settings can I change?
Fusion 360 allows you to change the Dimension Units and Mass units for a drawing. By default, the Dimension Units (marked "Units") will be the same as the Units your drawing was created with, and Mass units will show Use Model Settings to specify the default mass units for the unit system indicated by the dimension units.
Where to change these settings?
These settings can be changed from the part browser on the left hand side of the Fusion 360, in the Drawing space. Click on Document Settings, then navigate to Dimension Units. Hover over this until you see a button for "Change Dimension Units". Click on this button to display the Document Settings dialog.
From this screen, you can change the Units or Mass dropdown to whatever units you would like for your drawing. Keep in mind this process will also change your standard Fusion 360 tables if you are using any. Please also note Bommer does not currently use Alternate Units for calculations, this field is specifically for Fusion 360 so if you are looking to override dimension units in Bommer tables, use the top Units field.
Press OK and Bommer will reload your drawing tables with dimension and unit values converted to the desired units.
