Configuring multiple choice properties to allow new values

To support the ability to allow new values in a multiple-choice field, an option has been added to the Edit property dialog in Settings.  To configure this for a property:

• Open settings
• Double click on the row in Custom properties that you want to edit
• Check or uncheck “Allow new values in editor”

When checked, you can type any value into the multiple-choice field; if you type a value that is not within the configured set of values, a warning is displayed in the table cell to indicate that it is not in the valid set of values.  When unchecked, you can still type in the field to use autocomplete but it will not let you save a value that is not in the values configured for that property.
