Enabling Preview Features in Bommer

Bommer will sometimes choose to release new features that are still in the development or testing phases. We don't want to turn these features on for everyone right away, but we want our users to try them and give us feedback. To support this, we’ve added a way to enable preview features in the Bommer dropdown.

See available preview features

If any features are available for preview, they will be listed here. If you hover over any of these you will get a brief explanation of the feature.

Enable a preview feature

If you click on the functionality you will be greeted with this window talking about the feature in some more detail as well as include links to guides about it.

When you click on the feature, a dialog window will open. The dialog will explain the feature and include links to guides for it. The window will also contain a link to get in touch with Bommer support.

Click OK if you wish to enable the feature, or Cancel to close the dialog without enabling. After you click OK on the above screen, a confirmation message will appear. It will tell you that it's enabled and you need to restart Bommer to apply the changes.

Disabling the preview feature

If you found a problem with the preview feature that is getting in your way, or just do not like how it works, you can disable it. Use the same steps you used to activate it.

You will see a slightly different dialog window when disabling preview features:

After the feature has been disabled please email us at support@bommer.io to let us know what went wrong or why you disabled the property.
