How do I access my Bommer Data directory
Bommer stores configuration data, log files, thumbnails, and, to support editing linked components, unpushed bill of materials property data on your local machine. You may need to access this directory to back up your data, clear your thumbnails cache, or access log files for troubleshooting.
Bommer stores and uses the same files on both Mac and Windows; the only difference is where to find them on your machine. In this guide, <username> refers to the username of your Mac OS or Windows account, not your Fusion 360 account.
Finding your Bommer files on Mac
On a Mac, where your files are located depends on whether you downloaded Fusion 360 through the Mac App Store, or from Autodesk directly. When in doubt, or if you use both, backup the files at both locations.
If you use Fusion 360 downloaded through the Mac App Store
/Users/<username>/Library/Containers/com.autodesk.mas.fusion360/Data/Library/Application Support/Bommer for Fusion 360
If you use Fusion 360 downloaded directly from Autodesk
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Bommer for Fusion 360
Finding your Bommer files on Windows
Your Bommer data files are stored at:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Bommer, LLC\Bommer for Fusion 360
